ILS incubates Nutracryst Therapeutics Private Limited (NTPL)

Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) is proud to announce the incubation of Nutracryst Therapeutics Private Limited (NTPL).  An MOU was signed on the 21st May 2009, and NTPL was incubated on 1st June, 2009.  ILS would provide the scientific and operational support in the initial phases, and provide a launching pad for it to grow into a full fledged drug discovery company with a paradigm shift away from the way drug discovery research is envisaged today. It’s focus will be to work on drugs by using niche technology of cocrystal engineering leading to launch of a drug in 4-5 years of time frame.

NTPL will integrate a platform technology by involving re-purposing and re-engineering of existing drugs to build a robust pipeline with a vision to partner with other companies to take it to the market. NTPL envisages to expand its access to numerous drug Repurposing / Re-engineering technologies. These capabilities, combined with seasoned leadership and strategic plans for long-term growth, are the tools for NTPL's creation of consistent cash flow and an ongoing focus towards providing ‘Safe & Affordable’ medicines. The team at NTPL is constantly striving to be first among equals in drug discovery and development in our country.  The foundation of NTPL’s business is an internal ILS R&D program that leverages our expertise in drug formulation & delivery technologies, and product development by taking promising product candidates through clinical studies.
