ILS has been recognised as an "Associate Institute" by University of Hyderabad without affiliation to any of its schools. Thus scientists of ILS (recommended by its Director) will be recognised by University of Hyderabad as research guide and this will allow our research students to work under the the supervision of former at ILS for PhD degree in Chemistry and Biology awarded by University of Hyderabad. The University of Hyderabad will also recognise our research guide as "Adjunct Faculty" and they will be encouraged to participate in the research and teaching programs of the University of Hyderabad. The status of "Associate Institute" of University of Hyderabad will help ILS in seeking a similar recognition from other Institutions and facilitate research funding from Government and private organizations.
